Take a morning flight to Nyingchi, known as the “Switzerland of Tibet.” Upon arrival at Nyingchi Mainling Airport (before 11:00 a.m.), begin your spring journey through Tibet’s famous peach blossom region.
Your first stop is Milin Peach Blossom Avenue, where thousands of wild peach trees bloom against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains.
Continue to Gala Peach Blossom Village, one of the most iconic locations during the annual Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival. Every spring, the valley transforms into a sea of delicate pink blossoms, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes in Tibet.

Tangmai Natural Barrier → Guxiang Lake → Bomi Peach Blossom Gully
Drive along the scenic Sichuan–Tibet Highway (G318), passing the famous Tangmai Natural Barrier, once regarded as one of the most challenging sections of the highway.
Visit the tranquil Guxiang Lake, a beautiful alpine barrier lake surrounded by forests and snow-covered mountains. Formed by glacial activity, the lake is known for its crystal-clear water and peaceful scenery. It has also been recognized by China National Geographic as one of Tibet’s top photography destinations.
Continue to Bomi Peach Blossom Valley, where ancient wild peach trees bloom beneath towering glaciers and alpine forests. The combination of pink blossoms, blue skies, and snowy peaks makes this one of Tibet’s most breathtaking spring landscapes.

Laigu Glacier / Midui Glacier → Ranwu Lake (If Laigu Glacier is closed, visit Midui Glacier instead)
Today’s highlight is the magnificent Laigu Glacier, one of the largest glacier groups in eastern Tibet.
Drive alongside the stunning Ranwu Lake, whose mirror-like waters perfectly reflect the surrounding glaciers and snow mountains. Continue to Laigu Village, where several glaciers descend dramatically into glacial lakes with vibrant shades of blue and turquoise. Floating icebergs create an extraordinary landscape often compared to Antarctica.
If road or weather conditions prevent access to Laigu Glacier, you’ll instead visit the equally impressive Midui Glacier, one of China’s lowest-altitude marine glaciers. Surrounded by forests, waterfalls, and alpine meadows, it offers spectacular scenery throughout the year.
Return to enjoy more breathtaking views of Ranwu Lake, one of Tibet’s most beautiful alpine lakes.

This morning, visit the peaceful Galang Lake, a hidden gem surrounded by lush forests, traditional Tibetan villages, and ancient mountain landscapes.
Continue to Lulang Forest, often called the “Switzerland of Tibet.” Here you’ll discover rolling alpine meadows, dense spruce forests, crystal-clear streams, and snow-capped mountains. During spring, wildflowers bloom across the valley, creating an idyllic landscape.
Later, explore Lulang International Tourism Town, a charming Tibetan-style town designed to blend traditional culture with modern hospitality. Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before spending the night in Lulang.

Visit the breathtaking Basum Tso, one of Tibet’s most beautiful sacred lakes.
During spring, the lakeshore is framed by blooming peach blossoms, ancient forests, and snow-capped mountains, creating postcard-perfect scenery.
Continue to Laru Village, home to one of the largest natural wild peach blossom forests in Tibet. Every March and April, countless peach trees burst into bloom, painting the valleys in soft shades of pink.
Afterward, travel along the modern Lhasa–Nyingchi Expressway before arriving in the holy city of Lhasa.

Travel across the Gampa La Pass for spectacular panoramic views before arriving at the breathtaking Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s three sacred lakes.
Admire its brilliant turquoise waters stretching beneath snow-covered mountains, while passing traditional Tibetan villages and grazing yaks along the way.
Continue to the secluded Yuthok Monastery, dramatically perched on a peninsula extending into the lake. Often referred to as the “World’s Loneliest Monastery,” this peaceful sanctuary has quietly stood for centuries, offering a unique glimpse into Tibetan Buddhist devotion and solitude.
Return to Lhasa in the evening.
